2009-2010 AASU EDUCATION AND ACTIVISM COMMITTEE
Application

I. Introduction
Greetings applicants! Thank you for your interest in the AASU Education and
Activism Committee. Just so you know what you are getting yourself into, we are
looking for 4 dedicated, passionate people who care about Asian-American issues
and advocacy. There are 4 specific positions available:
1 [] Issue Chair- vice-chair of the committee, responsible for identifying
issues to present on at each AASU General Body Meeting
1 [ ] Special Events Coordinator- responsible for organizing special larger-
scale education events that raise awareness of particularly significant issues
2 [ ] Researchers- offer general input on issues, assist with researching topics
and verifying information for accuracy
Please rank each of the positions from 1-3 (1 being of highest preference, 3 lowest).
It is important to remember that all members of the committee will work together
on every task; the specific job titles are just a way to better organize the process.
