Abstract: This dataset supports an an approach using metered data to estimate annual community energy consumption baselines for single-family detached homes in the Gainesville Regional Utility (GRU) service area of Alachua County, Florida, United States.
Acquisition: Collected for University of Florida's Institutional Repository by the UFIR Self-Submittal tool. Submitted by Nicholas Taylor.
General Note: This data was screened to reflect total annual energy use in occupied single-family, detached homes. Annual energy use for each residence expressed in equivalent kilowatt hours (ekWh) . Kilowatt hours (kWh) of electric use and therms of natural gas use were converted to British Thermal Units (BTUs). BTUs were converted to ekWh for ease of understanding for the layperson.
