New Comptroller Kenneth D. Seeger Has

Over 11 Years Creole/Jersey Experience
Lago's new Comptroller, Kenneth David Seeger, assumed his
duties September 1.
Before coming to Lago, Mr. Seeger had been the General Audi-
tor in the Comptroller's Department of Creole in Caracas. Mr.


Seeger had been with Creole

since July 1, 1960, during which
period he worked as Assistant
General Auditor and General
Auditor.
Prior to his Creole assign-
ment, Mr. Seeger worked in
Jersey Standard's Auditing De-
partment He first joined Jer-
sey Standard in February, 1955.
During World War II, Mr.
Seeger served in the U.S. Navy
in 1945 and 1946.
A graduate in liberal arts
from the University of Michi-
gan, Mr. Seeger obtained his
master's degree in Business Ad-
ministration from the Graduate
School of Columbia University.
Mr. Seeger is married and
has one son and one daughter.

"Overall, the refinery is in relatively good shape from a safe
operational and fire protection standpoint," says Esso Research's
R. F. Murphy in his fire protection survey conducted recently at
Lago. He further commented: "The amount of interest and ac-
tivity in safe operations such as through the COSO Committee,

should continue. Also, the oper-
ating personnel are quite safety
conscious and are actively in-
terested in this area."
The purpose of the survey is
(1) to reduce the chances of
fires occurring, (2) to minimize
the amount of damage that
would result should a fire oc-
cur.

day night, August 27. Close to
one hundred officials and guests
attended the party at the Aruba
Caribbean Hotel. Mr. Viapree
has been assisting in Lago Sport
Park events for twenty-six
years.
