The "milkbank" has been dis-
continued since Jan. 1 for lack
of funds.
When the milk was stopped,
the Kiwanis received spon-
taneous reactions from the pu-
pils of St. Theresia School in
San Nicolas. "Why isn't there
anymore milk," they asked in
their letters. Their feelings a-
bout the situation were express-
ed in colorful drawings.
Sister Marie Jeanne, head of
the school, also added a letter.
Said she we ask you not to
stop the good work you started
in supplying milk. Just look at
the drawings and read the let-
ters. They are clearer than our
words. Thank you very much
for what you have done and
please continue."
Sister Marie Jeanne's plea
was in the name of all the
children who are considered for
the milk Through the "Milka-
