The program was held in the large stor- age building adjacent to the Barcadera wharf. The bagging and conveyor system was put into motion as an inaugural gesture by HRH Prince Bernhard. Speakers, all of whom lauded the people and government of Aruba and the investment and pro- duction companies, cited the development of the Barcadera com- plex as the result of pooling of private capital from several nations of the free world. The Antilles Chemical Company provides a basic raw material, ammonia, for the manufacture of nitrogen fertilizer. Two-thirds of its production will be consumed by the Aruba Chemical In- dustries and the rest will be exported to other countries in the Caribbean. The Aruba Chemical Industries manufactures nitric acid, complex fertilizers, and the components necessary to in- crease agricultural productivity. Their export, said H. W.
