Organizations whose dedicated purpose is to assist individuals or

families when help is most needed are one form of mankinds efforts to

serve his fellow man Such organizations exist to lend a supporting

hand to those who may have encountered unforeseen difficulties in

lifes journey and to assist worthwhile community ventures

Some are world wide in their functions others country wide while

still others concern themselves primarily with needs of their own

community In the main the Lago Community Council falls into the

latter category It is primarily a benevolent organization that acts

as a coordinator of funds to be dispensed to worthy and deserving

causes Because of the good the Council has done through wide usage

of its funds its annual appeal for monetary support is answered on an

average of 943 per cent participation by residents of Lago Colony By

giving to the Lago Community Council each and every contributor

thereby helps serve his fellow man

This year Fls 6776458 was contributed during the drive held in

March A portion of the money goes to designated agencies who daily

carry on welfare work some to designated individuals in need a
