The 18-hour Oral Presentation Course being given at Lago is de- signed to provide instruction and practice in planning and presenting oral reports effectively. To insure individual instruction, the number of participants have been divided into four groups of twelve members, each group attending six three-hour ses- sions. The course requires class members to participate actively in the sessions by preparing and giving oral reports on subjects familiar to them. Their speeches are videotaped and audio-recorded and played back for group evaluation. In reviewing the oral presentation of each participant, emphasis is placed on good organiza- tion, clear presentation, meaningful language, appropriate material and proper use of visuals. 4a- Participants and Instructors In a Mechanical Engineering Cour- se held here Oct 16 20 are here from left to right, standing: Sydney Lester (Jamaica), Hart- mut Elmont, Rudy Koopmans, Gerhard Hintz, Chester Vlaun, Don Cuffel, Dirk van Straten and Bob Baker.
