New Tank Truck Loading Facilities Include More Safety and Product Quality Features The existing tank truck loading fa- cilities, located east of Lago Heights Gate No. 8, have been moved to a new and more spacious site west of that gate. The new site includes loa- ding facilities for jet fuel, gasoil, mo- tor gasoline and aviation gasoline. A separate rack for loading propane (cooking gas) has been built near the new main loading facilities. The project also includes a small office for the loading rack operator. To provide space for the new load- ing facilities, one tank was dismant- led and new entrance and exit gates were opened just west of Gate 8, ofreci na diez-nuebe empleado ken- denan actualmente ta asignA den va- rios division di Controller's. Nan ta : Nivola Adolfo, Adolf Boekhoudt, Do- nald Christiaans, Vito Christiaans, George Godett, Jose Hunt, Olivia Jan- sen, Pedro Martis, Melva Ridderstap, (ContinuA na pagina 5) which has now been closed. The new site also offers more maneuvering area for the tank trucks, which make some 30 trips per day for loading pro- ducts at the rack. The new facilities also include five new loading arms, metering equipment and piping from the existing new tanks near the old loading site to the new loading rack. The installation of new loading fa- cilities was prompted by insufficient space and the unsafe location of the old facilities close to the roadway, while some equipment did not meet today's safety standards. Remark- able with the old and new loading systems is that no pumps are requi- red as loading can take place effi- ciently through gravitation, except for propane which is to be loaded under pressure. Four tanks (360, 450, 451 and 490) serving the new loading rack were relocated and repaired, sandblasted (Continued on page 4) ARUBA ESSO NEWS Mau 1077 - "rh."
