QOJVER -CORNELIUS TATEM. was born in St. Kitts
on April 11, 1949.
He, esided in St. Thomas from 1967 until: the time of
his death.
He was a great lover of music. :He had played -with a
variety of bands on, the island including .he Sammy Watts
Combo, which he was with. for a long time until the time of
his death.
He loved to travel and had travelled extensively with
the band cutting their most recent record "Culture Music"
- in Puerto Rico.
He was very friendly and warmhearted, would often
think about his friends before himself.
Oliver was a wonderful father, son, brother and friend
to all. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
"You'll never cry in heaven
There's no pain or sorrow there.
God's world is filled with only joy
And perfect love to share.'
'sFs OLIVER TATEM -
When you Were broken-hearted he knew how to cheer
you up.
When you were in great distress he knew how to make
you smile.
When you felt like no one else cares, he always had a
comforting Word.
When he was around there was never a dull moment.
He has gone on to meet his Father, whom I am sure
will greet him with open arms and welcome him into the
SKingdom which he has prepared for us.
He will be missed by his many friends and his beloved
Family.
Oliver Rest In Peac .
God Bless You.

---.i...--- A TRIBUTE _i
OLIVER was not only my best friend but more or less
like my brother. There was not anything that we did not
do together. We have been to lots of places and behaved
like real blood relatives. There was not anytime at all that
we had any hard talk. He was always understanding, friendly
and.full of advice. Because of this he will always be remem-
bered. He was very well respected by his peers.
May He Find Eternal Peace with His Master.
-Myles Browne
uI A IELUVED FRIEND
He knew not sorrow whence it came
But joy was foremost, not his pain.
In Sorrow and in joy he shared
He was a friend a friend so dare
,4!i. He is departed from this earth
But he will still be in our every thought.
We must not remember him as he is,
Instead remember him as he was.
He was a happy and a joyous fellow,
Free of enemies and music mellow :
We must not grieve, for he was a happy man.
And now he's gone to rest in God's eternal hand.
