Lulogy

The late Dora Delma Tatem was born on September 15,
1932 to Maria and Cornelius Leonard on Cooper Island, BVI.
She attended school in Virgin Gorda, BVI, and St. Thomas,
USVI.. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior in 1964
and was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church under
late Pastor McMillan.

Dora Tatem met and married James Tatem. To this union
was born two children -- Yvette and Darion Tatem.

Dora came from a large family (14 brothers and sisters).
Because of the size and age differences of the family, it was
robbed of the opportunity of growing up together as a cohesive
family.

Dora's efforts were instrumental in molding the family
into a more cohesive unit. She was well-liked by all who knew
her, and was ready and available resource for those in need.
She was poor in physical resources; however, she was rich in
encouragement and positive motivation.

Dora was an active member in the Seventh-Day Adventist
Church; provided distinguished service in the prison ministry
department and church choir. She was a devout Christian,
loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

She was hospitalized December 27, 1985 and remained
hospitalized until the Lord chose to call her on February
22, 1986. May she rest in peace!
