Abstract: The Enid M. Baa Library of the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) has acquired an extensive collection of memorial booklets since the early 1970's for U. S. Virgin Islands residents. Booklets are usually more than 10 pages long and give details of the life and family connections of the deceased.

BIOGRAPHY

Ethlyn Evelyn Seetey was born on May 21, 1908 in
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. She was
the ninth child of Wilsher and Ann Eliza Seeley (nee
Smith).
She worked as a seamstress for the Government of
the Virgin Islands and prior to retirement, at Elverhoj,
a local dress shop.
All who came to know her loved her for her kindness,
sweetness, and charm. She was a good lady.
May she rest in peace.
