Eulogy

Erna Cassandra Scatliffe
1957 1995

qr ma Cassandra Scatliffe was born on the island
of St. Thomas. USVI to Mr. Luddrick Scatliffe
and Ms. Eunice Frett on April 19. 1957. Erna
was raised by her mother Eunice Frett and resided on
St. Thomas all of her life.
In 1973 at the age of fifteen, she graduated from
Addelita Cancryn Jr. High School. Ernma was married
to Mr. William Jennings but later divorced. She then
met Mr. Harrigan, and from that union was blessed
with Lilithe Harrigan. Later-on she met Mr Clayton
Colaire and was blessed with Cherolyn and Sherlna Co-
lalre. Erna better known as Ernme, always had a smile
on her face and had many friends. She was kind, com-
passionate, optimistic and always concerned about
others.
Ema accepted the Lord as her personal Savior
while in the hospital. She would sing, pray and cry
together with her sister Sonia Petersen. When her
oldest daughter came from away to visit her she would
eat a lot better which made us feel happy.
It makes us feel happy to know that she is in the
care of the Lord where there will be no more pain and
sorrow. She will be greatly missed by all.

Tributes

Ema,
Myoldestsister, I would miss you dearly. My thoughts willalwaysbe with
you.
Your sis, Suzy

Ema,
For love would cause the sun to shine; and everywhere you go Omie, the
painful thorns left notice, as the roses bloom and grow, so would my love for you
continue growing.
Your sis, Shirey

Ema,
The Roses are still Red
The Skies are Blue;
Never will my love ever die for you,
I'll always keep you in my heart;
As for me, well never part.
Your sis,Soala

I miss you very much. You have gone home from your sufferings. The times we
used to spend together I will never forget I will love you always.
Your daughter, Lilithe

In gratification

Maybe you brought yourgentle warmth
from near or far away...
Maybe you bought a flora wreath,
to be with us here today
Or maybe you said some gentle prayer
to the father above who rea(y cares...
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We aff say than from the bottom of our hearts.
