Georgina Evangeline Petersen was born on September 12, 1931,
on the Island of St. Kitts. She was the daughter of the late
Eulet Prentice and Mabel Wallace of St. Kitts.

In the 1960's, she moved to the island of st. Thomas, virgin
Islands where she decided to make her home. she met the most
wonderful man Reu H. Petersen Sr. and they were wed
on December 31, 1960, 29 loving years. Georgina was a
housewife. She was the proud mother of five sons, two by her
husband and three from her previous marriage.

Mrs. Petersen kept herself busy as a Community Tenant Leader
for one year at the Bergs Home Community. She was always
willing to fight for her rights. Georgina was a very special
lady, who knew how to make anyone who came to know her love
her. Her relationships with others wore unique. She was a
devoted, loving, caring mother. Raising five boys was her
greatest challenge. It was hard but, gratifying to her. Her
most loved hobbles were watching the soap operas,
communicating with others and watching sports with her sons.
She was a great listener and a wise adviser.

Our consolation in this time of bereavement is in knowing that
Georgina believed in and loved God our Father, and his son
Jesus. Her presence will surely be missed, especially her warm
smile and laughter.

Hommy:

To the woman I will always love. When time was hard you
were there for me. When there was no place for me to go, you were
there for me. When it looked like I was going to get into trouble
you were also there. When time were hard for us as a family, you
never gave up. At one time you were my mso and dad, you
struggled so hard to make ends meet, until you met my step-dad.
Then things got a little better. There's no doubt you were a very
strong woman. You weathered the storm and you saw us all grow up
to be adults. Mom, you will always be the most Important person
in my life, I will always love you. May you Rest in Peace.
Love always, Steadson Sr.

My Lady:
It's so hard for ne to say good bye to yesterday and today:
but I'll.never forget the pain and laughter we've shared
together, and the words you used to say to ae "Have Faith". I have
given you the best and our prayers we've left with you. Your memory
will live forever in our hearts, you'll find the proof. I will
not forget you, My Lady.
Love Always, Your Husband

Noamy:

You may be gone from our lives but you will not be forgotten.
You were well loved by us and we enjoyed every moment we shared
together with you. You will be in our hearts forever. Sleep on
our dearest mother. we look forward for that day when we shall
meet again. we know you will always be with us.
Love, Antonio, Arvin, Reu, Elvis

My dearest Petersen (Ha)

When I heard of your death a part of me died with you. You
were my second mother. whenever I needed someone to talk to no
matter the consequences. You were always there to give me words
of encouragement you treated me like the daughter you never had.
To Reu and Family, each and everyone of us have a purpose and a job
to be done under the heaven and Georgina's job was completed.
Don't question the Lord, because the Lord giveth it and taketh it
away. may God bless you all.
