oanne L. D. Nicholas the daughter of Deloris Nicholas
c and Robert Nicholas, was born on February 25, 1965 in
St. Thomas.

As a young child, Joanne's parents moved to Antigua to live
and took her along. While living there she attended the Adel
School. A couple years after, they moved back to St. Thomas
where she lived until May, 1997.

Joanne was a very quiet person. When she was hurting no
one would know until you asked. She was also a great dancer.
Whenever her sister, Jackie went by the house she always
greeted Joanne with a little dance and that would lift her spirit.
She just loved when Jackie came over and danced with her.
That was the only time you would see her laugh and just be
happy.

Joanne never wanted to leave the house, she was afraid of
heights. Joanne was very close to her mother.

May she enjoy her eternal rest and reward
she has earned.

My Star,


I see my star every day as I wake and
every night as I sleep, sometimes I wonder what a lovely and beau-
tiful daughter you were. When you smiled and talked with me I
knew it was out of love and affection,


She shines like the biggest and brightest star morning, noon
and night. She is so beautiful to me. To think God made herjust for
me and to leave me so lonely.
