Abstract: The Enid M. Baa Library of the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DLAM) has acquired an extensive collection of memorial booklets since the early 1970's for U. S. Virgin Islands residents. Booklets are usually more than 10 pages long and give details of the life and family connections of the deceased.

Friends and relatives are informed of the death of Mrs. Sarah V.
Mclntosh, who died on January 2, 1977 at her residence in Tutu.
Born on December 15, 1899, she lived in St. Croix and then St.
Thomas for fifty-two years after coming originally from Grenada,
B.W.I.
She is survived by eight children: Vida Sabino, Laura Harrigan,
Velma Forde, Faye Francois, James Mclntosh, Winston Mclntosh,
and Louis Mclntosh, Jr.;Twenty Grandchildren and other relatives
and friends.
