Stuart enjoyed a long and successful professional career with the Fed-
cral and local goavanments and in the business world. For many years
he was an active mneber of the Gypsy Carnival Troupe which lie
seved as president and treasure. He was also a member of Alpha Phi
Alpha fraternity, Rotary 11 ofSt. Thomas and the St. Thomas/St. John
Chamber of Commerce Inc. He was a loving and devoted husband to
Hden and a dear and valued friend to many.
Stuart Brown Martin departed this life on Thursday, March 15,
1984, at his home in Estate Hope No. 9 as peacefully and as quietly
as he had lived.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted wife Hden
F. Martin; one stepson; Cicero M. Fain Jr. of Huntington, West Vir-
ginia; one sister, Sarah M. Pereira of Silver Spring, Maryland; two
nephews, Carlos M. Pedra of Silver Spring, Maryland and Paul A.
Martin of Clcvdand, Ohio; one sister-in-law, Dorothy A. Martin of
Clevdand Ohio; an a life-long friend, Henry L Williams of Cleve-
land, Ohio; other rdataves and many friends.
Stuart balanced his professional career with his love and kindness
to family and friends. May he rest in peace.
