Ada Mailgard Marcelli, known to many as Miss Ada, was born on
March 14, 1902 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. After completing her
education she met and married Edwin Marcelli. Of this union ten chil-
dren were born. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother
and a sincere friend. As a very caring and friendly person, Ada was
always willing to help someone and could be depended on. She will be
remembered for her baking of sweetbreads, cakes, pastries and candies.
She also enjoyed taking part in the Quadrille Troupe at carnival time. Ada
Marcelli has touched many lives and will be greatly missed. May she rest
in peace.
