Tennyson CW.C Joseph, 3r.

1973 1997

Tennyson W.W. Joseph, Jr. was born on October 10, 1973, in St.
Thomas, Virgin Islands to Irene G. and Tennyson W.W. Joseph, Sr. He
attended the Kirwan Terrace Elementary School, Addelita Cancryn Junior
High School and Charlotte Amalie High School. Tennyson was a former
employee at Woolworth Department Store and was enrolled in Adult
Continuing Education at Charlotte Amalie High School.
Tennyson enjoyed spending time with his daughter, playing basketball,
listening to music and playing around with computers. He was always
loved by his cousins. He was a loving, kind, obedient and well respected
Tennyson leaves us to ponder why his plans and dreams were not to be
accomplished; why he was suddenly taken from us; and how we will go on
without him. However, the Lord has His own plans for him. He wanted
Tennyson to be one of His angels and that is where he is today. Tennyson
will be dearly missed by his entire family and many friends.

To our only son ... Junie, you were the most loving son a mother and
father could ever have. We are still asking why it happened. June, you
will always be our hero for the goals you set out to accomplish, and for
that we will always be proud. Words can't explain the grief that we feel
and the ache in our hearts. We love you son, sleep in heavenly peace until
we meet again.
Endless love, Mom and Dad

Junie ... You were separated from me, but I will never forget the good
and memorable times we've shared. You have moved on, but you will
always be remembered in my heart. Until we meet again, I love you.
Your sister Charlo

Junie ... The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. It is hard to
believe, yet when Ma called and told me you passed away, I said, "You
lie!" I can't believe when I get home I am not going to see you again. You
were like a brother and most of all a very dear friend that I will always
cherish. I cried and am still crying, remembering the good times, gossip
and jokes (even though I am away at school) we shared. To the family, I
say be strong until reunification. Lost is a fine son. Take comfort in his
future. Rest in peace my brother and friend.
"Ja La" Jamila

Life was about fun for us. We always took life for granted because all
we were thinking about was liming. But the fun isn't over. Until we meet

Junior ... Shino and I will always remember the nights that you spent
with us talking and laughing. You were a true friend from the start.
Nothing or no one could ever break us apart. Even though you've passed
on now, you will always have a special place in our hearts. We will love
and cherish you and your special ways forever. To you, Tennyson Joseph,
a prayer of honor. May God bless your loving, happy soul.
S Love forever, Taiwo, Shenell, Shacoi, E Shacoya

Dear Teno... You know I used to call you that all the time. You are my
brother, Taiwo's best friend, or should I say brother. I'm really going to

miss you asking me, Nickel, where is the candy or sometimes where is the
gum. I had the two bags of candy I promised you that same day, but you
never same so I could give them to you. Instead you had other arrange-
ments to leave and go to be with the Lord in the special place we call
heaven. You will be missed. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
Love always and forever, Kanika Stevens (Nikki)

To my little brotherJunie... For all who knew my brother as Tennyson,
as well as I, know that he was nice, charming, smart and a very respectful
person. He was a like a brother to some people. I am sorry my brother
died. My brother was always obe.lient and never disrespectful to others. I
will miss the fun times that we had playing basketball, listening to music
and watching T.V. June, I will always love you and I will treasure the
memories that we shared forever.
Your big sis, Charmaine

Let thy will be done. The Lord has his reasons, so we have to be
comforted in His decision. You were always the first to show you cared
and to lend a helping hand. Tennyson, you have gore to a better place
where we will meet again. By the grace of God we give thanks for a life
that was shared and although the time was brief we can let go until that
glorious day of resurrection. May you rest in eternal peace forever.
Bernalyn "Bunny" Tomeau and family

We are not going to forget your laugh or smile. Those fun times we
had on the bench in night school when our teachers were absent will
never be forgotten. May you rest safely in Jesus' arms. We will miss you
and keep you in our hearts forever.
Craig "Sunku" Claxton, Tooley, Rahil,
Bunny, Mario, Tuku and the rest of the
bench crew from night school

On one knew that you would have to go so suddenly, so fast. How
could it be that a sweet memory would be all that I have left now that you
are gone. Every day'I'll go on, but life won't be the same. I'm so empty
inside and my tears I won't hide. But I'll try to face the pain, Tennyson. I
will miss you, but God knows best and the best was you. I know you will
be smiling down on me from heaven. You will be gone, but never
forgotten. In God's hands I leave you,
Your special friend, Miss

To Tennyson ... I know we are far away, but nothing can help me
express the emptiness I feel inside. But don't worry because you'll always
be kept safe in God's arms and you won't have to suffer any more. God
gave His peace unto you, "Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be
afraid." You'll always be in our hearts until we meet again.
Love always,, Kalamis, Dynelle and Runieq

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

0 Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
Seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Love always, Kenya Blyden

Tennyson ... I don't even know where to begin. Life is an uncertain
thing. We live, we die. But deep down inside I still can't believe you are
not here with us. For Taiwo, I know what he feels. It's like a mystery.
Faith is the substance that people hope for. The evidence of things not
seen. Rest in peace my love.
Yvonne Blyden

Tennyson... the saying "Only the good die young," is definitely true.
You were a very sweet young person whom everyone adored. Your candle
burned out long before your memory ever will. Until we met again half
way across the sky.. peace.

It is a sad day for us because we have lost an important member of our
Woolworth family. How does one relate in mere words the impact that he
had on everyone of us? So many things about Tennyson come to mind

that made him so special to us.
He was always ready with a mischievous smile that would signal if you
were a target of his friendly teasing if he saw anything that he could tease
you with. It was a privilege to be teased by him because it meant that he
counted you as a friend. His laugh was another part of him that made him
so dear to us, because when Tennyson laughed, you could not help but
join in and do it too.
Tennyson was the life of any gathering that we had an if you met him
anywhere he always carried that quality for making life fun with him.
He is gone in body but not in spirit. Everyone of us here has memories
of Tennyson that will be with us always. Those remembrances of Tennyson
are what will make us smile despite the circumstances under which we are
here today because they bring us joy... we all were touched in some way
by his zest for life.
So let us not be sorrowful because Tennyson has gone home to our
Father. He now knows what true happiness is.
