DERRICK HOBSON

Derrick Hobson was born on May 9, 1961 to Charles and
Victoria Hobson. He received his early education at Dober &
Joseph Gomez Elementary Schools in St. Thomas. His high
school education was completed in Los Angeles, California at
Hollywood High. He was active in a singing group, namely the
Three Sees at the age of twelve.
Whenever Derrick was around you could count on a joke or
a smile, his prize possession. He was the sixth of eight
children. Derrick relocated to Los Angeles, California where he
met his wife Kim Hobson. He was a warm, sincere, loving,
dedicated and family oriented Individual. His sense of respon-
sibility was number one, no matter how difficult the task.
He was very forgiving regardless as to who was wrong or
right. Derrick had a love for his family and friends that would
not be forgotten. He looked for the good In people and did not
lament on their faults or shortcomings.
Derrick knew that this world was not his home and on the
Inside he sensed that his rest with Jesus Is the only true liberty
he will ever know. Man can destroy the flesh but not the soul,
therefore, no weapon formed against him will prosper.
May he Rest In Peace.
