Rozelia Eliza Dawson George was born in Long Look, Tortola, B.V.I. to
Arbella Crab and Alexander Dawson on March 17th, 1896.
"Miss Rose" or "Ma" as she was affectionately called will be mostly
remembered for her gentle manner and deep religious beliefs.
In 1923 "Ma" married the late Charles Elias George. During her life-time,
she was the mother of 18 children, but she still found time to work alongside
her late husband in the fields.
After the death of her husband Charles Elias George, "Ma" moved to St.
Thomas in 1972. She lived with her daughter Cynthelia Turnbull until the time
of her death. She was a member of the Christ Church Methodist.
She will be missed by her family as well as her many other relatives and
friends.
