Dalton Alexander Bonelli, affectionately known as Bones" or "Mr. B",
was born to the late Amanda Mercer and Edward Bonelli on une 9,1923
on the island of St. Thomas.
Dalton was educated in the public school system where after complet-
ing his education, he worked at the Old Municipal Hospital as a male
nurse for several year.
He then ventured into the private sector where he worked as Chief
Clerk for David Chinney Grocery and as Chief Storekeeper for the local
Telephone Company for several years.
Dalton then returned to government service, where he served as Chief
Storekeeper for the Department of Health. He retired in 1964 after 28
years of service.
Dalton loved his religion dearly and was a very dedicated member to
his Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church. He served as an Usher for 38
year, a member of the Choir and Church Council for eight years and
also as a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood for many years.
Dalton always showed a sincere interest in helping to bring his church
surroundings up to standards by cleaning the premies; and by painting
the interior and exterior of the church building along with other faithful
helpers. Being of service to his church in any way he could was a plaure
d n was a "gourmet cook" and a "master baker", which was his
greatest hobby. Everyone will miss those Chtmas Sweetbreads and
New Year's Kallaloo; just to mention a few. In his spare time, he enjoyed
fishing, which he and his brother Eric, along with his longtime friend Roy
Parrot did very often.
Dalton, it was a ong, long road you traveled, but you were not alone;
we stood by you side by side from the beginning up until the end. You
will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
We will not sy good-bye, just farewell, until we all meet again in that
Glorious Place called HEAVEN.
Rest In Peace in the Arms of Your Savior, Jesus Christ. We all love You.

(Aly grandfather, a face that '11 never forget.
S Iis want eyes, that often showed understanding or concern.
Ones that brhten with proudness of the things you have earned.
iis words, ones of knowledge and ones of joke.
Ones of old times, the habit he had of making a story
of everything he spoke.
2iis heart, one with no limit, anything to make me smile he'd do.
Cven if 3 shouldn't have it, he'd try to give it.
2iis ears, always open to my questions
and so many things he'd have the answer to.
Sometimes 3 really wondered,
if there was a limit to all the things he knew.
iis hands, that were so very soft to the touch.
rom birthday embraces, to pats on the head that said,
"grandpa loves you so very much."
The memories D have of you grandfather, 3 will forever cherish.
hey will eternally be close to my heart, so they'll never perish.
jnd even though D may have lost time along the years.
The strength of confidence and love that you taught me,
D shall always bear ...
Rest in peace, Grandpa, Letrise V.
