Francesca Barry was born to Daniel Barry and
Frances Thomas on January 29, 1910 in St. Thom-
as, Virgin Islands.

After spending her early childhood years with her
parents, she went to Tortola to help and take care
of her grandmother. She remained in Tortola
throughout her adolescence and returned to St.
Thomas as an adult.

Francesca devoted her life to the care and nurturing
of others first her grandmother, and then her own
nine children, and finally her many grandchildren.

She loved her family dearly and lavished much time
and affection on them. She will be missed by all.

Sentences

Hymn .................... I Am Thine O Lord

I am Thine, O Lord; I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
And be closer drawn to Thee.

Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To the cross where Thou hast died:
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To Thy precious bleeding side.

Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the power of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.
