* THE HYMN "God of Our Life"
THE PRAYER OF CONFESSION (In Unison)
Almighty and everlasting God. amidst all the changes
of this mortal life. Thou art always the same. We con-
fess before Thee how uncertain are our days on earth.
Yet. Thou hast given to us a dignity. Thou host called
us Thy children. Thou host given to us time to use, and
people to love. Thou hast filled our lives with purpose
through Jesus Christ. We confess anything we have done
or said that has hurt another. For those things left un-
done, and for time wasted, forgive us, for Christ's sake.
Merciful Father, as we are forced to ponder the pattern
and sum of our lives, in the light of Thy love and eter-
nity, teach us to make the most of our days. Strength-
en us to live our lives in compassion end goodness to
one another, and in faithfulness to The.:. Thou art ever
faithful to us, and we know Thou wilt receive us as we
are for Jesus' sake.
