General Note:
The slides were taken on collecting trips sponsored by the William L. Bryant Foundation, where books, music and art indigenous to the regions were gathered. The are organized by geographical location.
General Note:
The Vinales Valley is located 125 miles southwest of Havana, in Pinar del Río, Cuba's westernmost province. Famous for it tobacco, reputed to be the best in the world. To the right is a thatched hut known as a Bohio.
