'"1OSE Slip'," a three-act
play with an ail-Trinidad

toria Cuturalf Centre on the
East Coast on Sunday night
The carifesta starved ru-
rat people flocked to the
Centre and were well re-
warded with some excellent

by good stage props and

when Mr. BuGket dites, Gus
runs away from Fiossie to
live it up with his did
cronies, King Frederick and
AMile and a Public official,
Mr. Lastide (Mohammed
Yahye) delivers a document
ordering everyone to leave
the yard in .si weeks as the
buildings are "unlit for
human haMitaton."
The curtains come down
when everyone leaves the
yard except Flossie who
goes back briefly for a for-
gotten "rose slip" planted
in a pot.
Carifesta performances
were rounded off here yes-
terday with an evening of
International and Locai danc-
ing at the Centre. This fea-
tured danding groups from
the. Cbribbean as well. as
local groups from Victoria
and the surrounding areas
on the East Coast.
