Mrs. Cynthia Gairy dis-
closed yesterday.
At a Press conference Mrs.
Gairy said that the troupe of
artists would be holding "the
greatest performance since
Expo '69."
Highlighting the perform-
ance will be the traditional
'Cake Walk' and 'Flag
Dance' symbolising marriage
customs of Grenadliana. Other
dances would depict court-
ship, other aspects of mar-
riage and family life.
Mr. Jerome McBarnette,
manager of the dance group,
who also -attended the Press
interview, said that research
was being done to improve
the dances but no attempt
was made to distort its basic
folk element.
