The .$13,000 gift was

the German Government, to6
Minister of Information and
i Culture, Mr. Elvin MvDavid,
at a simple ceremony at the
German Emabassy.
The piano which was speci-

over at this particular time
to be used for what the
Deputy German Ambassa-

iGuyana's most significant
national and international
!events.
Mr. Haller said that the
'gift was part of their pro-

'which had undertaken to
reflect their culture and
creative ability.
He also announced that a
troupe of musicians from
Germany would be perform-
