for CCWU
A MIXED programme in-
volving poet Arthur Seymour.

calypsonian Lord Canary will
be the form in which CART-
FESTA will be taken to
members of the Clerical and
Gommerecal Workers' Union
on Wednesday from 7.00 p.m.
The eventng will be an in-
troduction to CARIFESTA
and will include lectures and
discussions and demonstra-
tions will be held aV the
Union's headquarters on Mur-
ray street.

FBITA's Literary Oo-ordina.
tor, will also speak to Queen's
College sixth former on
CARIFESTA when he meets
them tomorrow at 2.20 p.m.
He will read extracts from the
poets of the 31 countries par-
ticipatiog in the three-week
cultural Festival.
Meanwhile, paintings and
other art work for the CARI-
FESTA Exhibition are steadily
coming in to the CARIFESTA
Sedeetariat from the parti-
cipating countries.
Some 50 paintings have
been sent in by local artists
for the Exhibition, white
other local artists and sculp-
tors are now busily putting?
the finishing touches to their
work, which must be sent in
by Tuesday, May 30.
