at Linden
A LITERARY feast was
presented to A small but
appreciative audience at the
Mackenzie High School last
Sunday afternoon in a pro-
grarmne of t adingsa fno
the works of Guyanese
writers. The potra.mite,
which was organised by the
CaiiBesta Comrnittee, was
presented by, Guyanese au-
thor. T. Anson Sancho.
Among the writers whose
works were read by a team
which cate from George-
towvi W~re Cyril Kanhal,
John Campbell, Donald Trot.
man, Sheila King, Roy
Heath, Bertram, Charles and
Sheik Sadeek. Most of the
readings were of poems, and
~hrad were 4extraets from
plays,
The literary treat included
readings of poems and a
short story by writers from
Linden. Those represented!
were: L. Grant,, Patsy King-I
ston, Joseph Bakker, Hugh
Todd and Ralph Prince,
