 Notes
Abstract: Trinidad and Tobago's logo for CARIFESTA IX (2006) appears in lower right corner with its slogan beneath: "Celebrating our people: Contesting the world stage." In order to show its viability as the festival's visual symbol, the rationale explains the logo's graphic representation of music, dance, and oral or written expression as only a few among the arts to be represented at the Festival.
Funding: Support for the development of the technical infrastructure and partner training provided by the United States Department of Education TICFIA program.
