The two en-US businessmen met with the citys Parking en-US Committee about a month ago and said en-US that board gave them the green light to en-US present the paid parking proposal to the en-US City Commission. en-US We started doing some preliminary en-US work to outline a potential quantity of en-US parking spaces, an overall cost model en-US that would make sense, and were still en-US working through that right now, Mr. en-US BuShea said. Really we want to start en-US with the overall desire on the citys behalf en-US on moving forward with a deal like this en-US and get some reassurance from that end en-US and move forward with some prelimien-US-en-US nary design and get the ball rolling from en-US there.en-US Mr. BuShea explained that the compaen-US -en-US ny wants to construct a three-story parken-US -en-US ing garage that will hold at least 288 en-US parking spots on city-owned property en-US known as the old JC Penny parking lot. en-US The space currently provides 80 two-en-US hour parking spaces and 30 general en-US spots.en-US Again, were still pretty early on in the en-US development side of things, so that could en-US fluctuate from 288 to 325 [spots], he en-US added. Now both en-US county commissioners and local activists are en-US scrambling to form a defense against large-scale en-US compost farming just as the Commission begins en-US hearings on its long-awaited commercial comen-US -en-US posting ordinance. en-US Sunbreak farms grows corn for silage on about en-US 6,000 acres straddling the border between St. en-US Lucie and Indian River counties and requested a en-US permit early last month with the Florida Departen-US -en-US ment of Environmental Protection to begin mixen-US -en-US ing treated human waste with yard and agriculturen-US -en-US al waste to create its own compost for fertilizer. en-US The county passed a moratorium on new comen-US -en-US mercial composting applications a year ago this en-US month after CompostUSA withdrew its applicaen-US -en-US tion the previous December in the face of signifien-US -en-US cant opposition. The Commission got wind of en-US Sunbreaks plans just before it postponed its June 6 en-US discussion on the composting ordinance until en-US June 20, and Chairman Chris Dzadovsky called a en-US special meeting June 12 to urgently discuss the en-US matter. Sunbreaks May 16 advertisement on the en-US permit request opened a two-week comment winen-US -en-US dow, and the DEP rejected a county request for a en-US 45-day extension, giving the county only until en-US June 12 to formally respond.en-US The time stops at 5 p.m. today for additional en-US information on the permit, Commissioner Dzaen-US -en-USCounty petitions state en-US over Sunbreak Farms en-USOwners of nearly 7,000-acre farm on Minute Maid Road plan en-US on using composted human waste as fertilizeren-USBy Donald Rodrigueen-USFor Hometown Newsen-USSeeen-US en-US SUNBREAKen-US page 8en-US Seeen-US en-US GARAGEen-US, page 10

en-US 3 en-USPORT ST LUCIE For people who are en-US just entering the real estate business or en-US professionals who are looking to advance in en-US the trade Value Homes Real Estate School en-US is just the place to go. The school offers speen-US -en-US cialized instruction on the 63-hour real en-US estate course required by the state of Florien-US -en-US da, along with many other required courses, en-US and owner/operator/instructor Ed Van en-US Horn has more than 20 years experience in en-US the industry to help people along the way.en-US I like the fact that Im independent and en-US by myself and I can make my own decien-US-en-US sions, Mr. Van Horn said. I have been en-US teaching real estate classes since about 2000 en-US both in Florida and Ohio, and the real estate en-US school provides all the pre-licensing and en-US post-licensing education courses required en-US by the state of Florida.en-US Mr. Van Horn opened the school earlier en-US this year in Port St. Lucie and said he has en-US been able to guide numerous students en-US toward success in the Florida State Sales en-US Associate or Florida Real Estate Brokers en-US license, and a fundamental basis is a viable en-US forumproviding requisite knowledge and en-US skills. Application of the knowledge and en-US skills presented will result insuccessful en-US completion of the applicable state of Florien-US-en-US da-required real estate examination. To en-US ensure continual validity of the earned real en-US estate license, both post-license and conen-US-en-US tinuing-education courses are offered, en-US according to the schools website.en-US Im getting new students who sign up all en-US the time, and I provide license courses in en-US Sebring, Okeechobee and Port St. Lucie and en-US St. Lucie County, Mr. Van Horn said. Haven-US -en-US ing been in the field as long as I have and en-US Ive been a licensed instructor since 2002 I en-US enjoy teaching and its a little bit of a chalen-US -en-US lenge for the students because they have to en-US be there for 63 hours.en-US Adding to the convenience is that Mr. Van en-US Horn is able to focus on students in a pleasen-US -en-US ant classroom setting and provide extra en-US instruction to each individual. But for peoen-US -en-US ple who have busier schedules, he also offers en-US online courses for prospective real estate en-US agents or brokers. Among the live classes en-US offered are the 45-hour sales post-license en-US course, the 63-hour pre-sales associate en-US course, the 72-hour pre-broker course, the en-US 14-hour continuing education course, the en-US 30-hour post-broker management course en-US and the 30-hour post-broker investment en-US course.en-US As I have the courses set up, I put them in en-US there, Mr. Van Horn said. I just completed en-US a class in Okeechobee and I have one en-US starting soon in Port St. Lucie. Ive never en-US had a bad evaluation from a student.en-US The real estate test is a comprehension en-US test, and the way they word the questions en-US you have to really understand what theyre en-US asking, Mr. Van Horn said. Its one of the en-US hardest tests in the United States, and everyen-US -en-US body knows that. So, the task I give them in en-US the school mirrors that, somewhat, and for en-US most people its a new field for them.en-US He also is one of the few brokers on the en-US Treasure Coast who offer instruction on the en-US Housing and Urban Development program en-US and how it applies to real estate transactions.en-US Mr. Van Horn is a Michigan native and en-US was once a member of the Michigan State en-US Police force. While serving in the U.S. Army en-US he advanced to the rank of warrant officer en-US and also achieved a Master of Arts degree in en-US Human Resource Management from Pepen-US -en-US perdine University. Then, in 1990, Mr. Van en-US Horn decided to delve into real estate earned en-US his original license in Ohio and subsequenten-USen-USly earned his brokers license in 2000 before en-US moving to Florida and doubled up on his en-US licenses. He is currently licensed as a broker en-US in both Florida and Ohio.en-US He also serves or has served on a variety en-US of charitable boards and in other civic orgaen-US-en-US nizations, such as Habitat for Humanity en-US andthe West Central Association of REALen-US -en-US TORS (Ohio) and in various leadership en-US positions with the Boy Scouts of America. en-US He is a past-president of the West Central en-US Association of REALTORS; and is currently en-US a member of the REALTOR Professional en-US Standards Committee (Florida), and holds en-US an amateur radio license, avolunteer for en-US both the Guardian Ad Litem organization en-US and Save the Chimp sanctuary.en-US I give personal attention and I spend en-US time making sure they understand all of the en-US concepts, Mr. Van Horn said. I dont just en-US want students to sign up and think they haven-US -en-US ent learn something. Its expensive to get en-US into the field and I try and make sure they en-US understand the business.en-US For more information, including the fees en-US for each individual class, and about Mr. Van en-US Horn or anything else about Value Homes en-US Real Estate School, please visit the website at en-US www.valuehomesrealestateschool.comen-US or en-US call the office at 772-361-6474. Tropical Depresen-US -en-US sionsare organized storms with winds of at en-US least 38 mph.Tropical Stormsvary in wind en-US speeds from 39-73 mph. Hurricaneshave en-US winds over 74 mph. en-US A Tropical Storm Watch means storm en-US conditions are possible in your area, while en-US a Hurricane Watch means hurricane en-US conditions are possible in the area. A en-US Tropical Storm Warning indicates tropical en-US storm conditions in the area, while a en-US Hurricane Warning indicates hurricane en-US conditions in the area.en-US Rain bands are strings of strong weather en-US coming off the cyclone producing heavy en-US rain, wind and tornadoes. The Storm Surge en-US is often underestimated and can be a en-US deadly result of ocean water swelling as a en-US storm makes landfall, quickly flooding en-US coastal areas.en-US It is important to create a disaster en-US response kit of supplies that you could take en-US with you if you are forced to evacuate or to en-US use in your home if you are left without en-US power for several days. Some recommenden-US -en-US ed items to include are: non-perishable en-US food, water, first-aid kit (include any en-US prescription medication you may need), en-US personal hygiene items and sanitation en-US items, flashlights, extra batteries, battery en-US operated radio, waterproof container with en-US cash and important documents, manual en-US can opener, lighter or matches, books, en-US magazines, games for recreation, and a en-US plan for evacuation and where you will en-US re-connect with family if separated.en-US It is also important to know how to en-US secure your home in the event of damaging en-US winds, storm surge and flooding. Cover all en-US of your windows with hurricane shutters en-US or wood, ensure all trees and shrubs are en-US trimmed and clear rain gutters, secure all en-US outdoor furniture, garbage cans, decoraen-US -en-US tions, and anything else that is not tied en-US down and brace internal doors.en-US If you are left without power, remember en-US these tips. Make sure your vehicle is full of en-US gas, have extra cash on hand, charge your en-US cell phone and limit use after power is out, en-US fill bathtubs and large containers with en-US water for washing hands and flushing en-US toilets, turn your refrigerator and freezer en-US temperature to the coldest setting prior to en-US the storm en-US Remember, a severe storm can be deadly en-US and destructive. The best advice is to be en-US prepared. A quarter isnt much but it gets people en-US to return their carts instead of leaving them en-US all over the parking lots.en-US People are too lazy to return a shopping en-US cart either back to the store or even to the en-US cart return rack, but let them have a quarter en-US invested and you never see carts in the lots en-US at Aldi.en-US Besides being a nuisance that forces you en-US to move carts so you can park, these carts en-US bang into cars occasionally and scratch up en-US paint.en-US I would love to see Walmart, Winn Dixie en-US and Publix institute the quarter a cart proen-US -en-US gram. They could save a lot of dollars not en-US having to pay someone to go round up carts en-US several times a day; and if people did give up en-US their quarters and leave their carts in the en-US lots, I can assure you there would be enteren-US -en-US prising young or old people who would en-US return carts for the quarter reward.en-USStuffing envelopes for en-US money is a scamen-USThis is a warning for the readers. But the offender, under our en-US Constitution, automatically gets a lawyer, if en-US he, or she, cannot afford it?en-US Why is it, in America, men are making en-US decisions about birth control, when they en-US cannot even have a baby?en-US Why is it that domestic violence is one of en-US the biggest problems here, with homicide en-US rates higher than other parts of the country?en-US Could it be in our criminal justice sysen-US -en-US tem? Could it be the lack of lawyers? Could en-US it be the lack of helping out the victims more en-US in a legal sense?en-US I just wish I knew. And I know that lots of en-US people are in a situation that they cannot get en-US out of.en-US I ask all attorneys, why dont you do en-US some public service work and help out vicen-US -en-US tims of domestic violence a little bit more en-US than what is being done?en-USIlluminate those headlampsen-USWe have had recent rain storms, and with en-US that comes responsibility to use headlamps en-US illuminated so people can see your vehicle.en-US It can be a pedestrian, a cyclist or another en-US vehicle. en-US And, if you have a setting on your vehicle en-US that allows you to have the lights automatien-US-en-US cally illuminated, keep it set.en-US And, not just for yourself, but so others en-US can see you.en-USA rant you will likeen-USThis is kind of a rant and a pet peeve to en-US see if anybody else has noticed this tread in en-US the last couple of years: the misuse of the en-USword like.en-US A lot of young people, and even some en-US older people, can misuse the word like en-US four or five times within one sentence. And, en-US once you notice it, it can drive you nuts.en-US I am just wondering if anyone else has en-US noticed the bastardization of the English en-US language. It is prevalent today. So it was felt that an emergen en-US-en-US cy meeting be held today to listen to public en-US comment on whether the Board should en-US take some action or send a letter and or a en-US request for petition of FDEP on that peren-US -en-US mit.en-US An attorney representing Sunbreak en-US Farms, Dennis Corrick of Fort Pierce-based en-US Dean, Mead, Minton & Zwemer, said he en-US had reached out to the county with no en-US response.en-US The applicant received a letter from the en-US county the day that we advertised the en-US intent, and I immediately reached out to the en-US county attorneys office and told her we en-US would be more than happy, he said. en-US Todays June 12: Weve not been asked any en-US questions.en-US County Attorney Dan McIntyre admitted en-US county staff found it difficult to arrange a en-US meeting with Sunbreak Farms representaen-US -en-US tives in such a short time frame. en-US Theyve been willing to meet with us en-US going back to May, but we just couldnt get en-US together, he said. Even as late as last week, en-US we tried to get it scheduledwe have a en-US meeting scheduled for June 14.en-US As a result of the shortened extension, en-US Mr. McIntyre said the county had to make a en-US decision on the fly. The Indian River Counen-US -en-US ty Commission had already responded with en-US a letter to the DEP citing its concerns.en-US The county has several options, he en-US explained. The Board could send a letter to en-US DEP expressing the countys concerns en-US about the project. Please note that the DEP en-US is not required to act on any concerns that en-US are presented in a letter. As a second option, en-US the board could file a petition for a formal en-US hearing; that would initiate a formal adveren-US -en-US sarial process with Sunbreak Farms and the en-US DEP.en-US If the county pursued the latter, Mr. en-US McIntyre added, the process would include en-US a formal hearing before an administrative en-US law judge and cost the county considerable en-US time and money. For his part, Mr. Corrick en-US hoped to avoid the legal morass by attempten-US -en-US ing to differentiate Sunbreaks planned en-US composting operations from what Comen-US -en-US postUSA had previously proposed. The foren-US -en-US mer plans to mix Class B Biosolids with en-US yard waste and other materials and only en-US apply the material seasonally after comen-US -en-US posting.en-US Theres been a lot of comparison to the en-US CompostUSA project, which was to be en-US about 189 acres, the majority to be comen-US -en-US posting, he said. The way that Sunbreak en-US Farms will be operating with this compost, en-US is theyll be producing compost twice a year en-US as a soil additive for a 45-day required perien-US-en-US od. Its a process that kills pathogens and en-US breaks down some of the material so that en-US the nutrients are supplanted into the comen-US -en-US post material. en-US After so many local environmentalists en-US and residents protested the CompostUSA en-US project for fear of further contaminating en-US the Indian River Lagoon, the county hired en-US CDM Smith engineering consultant Jill en-US Grimaldi to help the county craft its comen-US-en-US mercial composting ordinance. After studyen-US-en-US ing the Sunbreak proposal, Ms. Grimaldi en-US expressed concerns about the farms drainen-US-en-US age plan.en-US I think our biggest concern is how the en-US water will be managed, she said. While the en-US intent may not be to discharge, the permits en-US are actually written to have several options en-US for discharge, and so we just dont have en-US enough information to really see how that en-US waters going to be managed.en-US Although Mr. Corrick had previously en-US described the propertys miles of interen-US -en-US nal ditches and canals and a 640-acre resen-US-en-US ervoir where all of those waters inside of en-US the property can be pumped, he deferred en-US to the manager of the farm, agronomist en-US Tyler Brooke. The latter said the compost en-US mixed with the sandy soil would actually en-US help reduce stormwater runoff.en-US Its hard to hold water or nutrients en-US unless you have some form of organic maten-US -en-US ter to hold it together, he said. And thats en-US something compost would do for us in en-US helping hold more on the property, includen-US -en-US ing water retention. To grow a crop of corn, en-US it takes approximately 25 inches of water en-US per acre per year. Were not in the business en-US of exporting water off that property because en-US we need every ounce of it that we can get to en-US grow our crop and make it viable.en-US More than a dozen members of the puben-US -en-US lic also spoke during the meeting with most en-US insisting the county request a formal hearen-US -en-US ing from the DEP. Former St. Lucie County en-US Commissioner Charles Grande rejected the en-US argument that composting with biosolids en-US was part of normal farming operations en-US allowed by the state.en-US Theres a clear demonstration by the en-US applicant to keep the county and the county en-US citizens from learning what they can before en-USthey make the decisions that they have to en-US make, he said. You must request an en-US administrative hearing; otherwise you give en-US up your ability to impact this decision one en-US way or the other.en-US Retired lawyer Steve Navaretta conen-US -en-US curred, saying the wastewater permitting en-US process under state law had nothing to do en-US with the Protect the Farms Act.en-US This is a trust issue -its not a private en-US property rights issue, he said. The failure en-US to petition for an administrative hearing en-US will constitute an irrevocable waiver of any en-US participation by the county in the permiten-US-en-US ting process before DEP. It precludes your en-US consultant CDM from obtaining proper en-US documents and documentation so that you en-US can be properly advised and make a decien-US -en-US sion.en-US The Commission subsequently voted 3-0 en-US to request an administrative hearing on the en-US matter from the DEP, with Commissioners en-US Kathy Townsend and Linda Bartz absent. en-USSunbreaken-USFrom page 1 en-UScom. en-USSATURDAY, JULY 15en-US en-US Stuff the Bus:en-US 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at all St. en-US Lucie County Wal-Mart stores. Normally, en-US the blue jackets from Far Hills, N.J., would en-US manage to make a farce out of the event. en-US Greens would be harder than my driveway. en-US Pins would be hidden in silly spots en-US encouraging defensive approach shots and en-US putts. This year things were different. en-US Almost too different.en-US For starters, the course was very much en-US like a British Open venue. Expansive en-US fairways, tricky bunkers and tall fescue, and en-US hardly a tree, being the theme. Players were en-US not subjected to 20-yard wide fairways with en-US 8 of rough just a few feet from the safety of en-US the fairway. Some rain early in the week, en-US softened the greens a bit and kept balls en-US from running ridiculous distances and en-US settling into those odd bunkers or other en-US areas. The trade-off, however, was a long en-US course that would play even longer.en-US In the end, Brooks Koepka would hoist en-US the trophy, doing so in record tying fashion. en-US He his string of back-nine birdies on en-US Sunday took him to 16-under par and tied en-US him for the lowest score in relation to par in en-US the 117-year history of our Open. He en-US finished four shots clear of the field. Poor en-US Hideki Matsuyama and Brian Harman. en-US Their 12-under-par total would have won en-US them all but three of the previous Opens.en-US The week started with players pummelen-US -en-US ing the longest course in major history. If en-US you werent four-under or better on en-US Thursday you were outside the top-10. en-US Not everyone enjoyed success. You would en-US think that the big hitters like, Rory McIlroy, en-US Jason Day, and defending champion Dustin en-US Johnson, would eat the course alive. That en-US didnt happen and all three were home en-US watching the weekend coverage like the rest en-US of us.en-US If this year proved anything, it proved en-US that the USGA may actually have learned to en-US stop messing up the course to make par en-US the winning score. These guys are good. I en-US watched many players reach a 660-plus en-US yard par-5 in two shots. That is insane! It is en-US also, what we want to see. If a player is bold en-US enough and talented enough to pull that en-US off, he should be rewarded and, this week, en-US that was the case. en-US I will admit that I found the 16-under-en-US par winning score a bit lower than I hoped en-US for. If I hadnt seen it myself, I would swear en-US the course played too easy. The course had en-US teeth, Koepka and the rest simply brought en-US their A+ game this week. There were some en-US fantastic shots and rounds.en-US Justin Thomas carded a record-tying 63 en-US on Saturday. The round featured an eagle, en-US nine birdies, and two en-US bogeys. On Sunday, en-US the very same man, en-US could muster only en-US one birdie to go with en-US four bogeys. It en-US amounted to a en-US 12-shot difference on en-US the scorecard. en-US With Koepka well en-US in the lead, there en-US wasnt much drama en-US coming down the en-US stretch. It became a en-US matter of whether he en-US could break the en-US scoring record or en-US would settle for a en-US share of that history. en-US While his trophy and en-US check were not in en-US doubt, there was en-US another crazy matter going on.en-US The winners check came with a lot of en-US zeros, the amount being a very hefty en-US $2,160,000. For Brian Harman, there was a en-US lot of money on the line when he stepped en-US up to the 18th tee. A par or better on the en-US par-5 finishing hole would give him solo en-US second place. A bogey would send him into en-US a tie for second and a difference in prize en-US money of $250,000. Thats a lot of cheddar.en-US Harman made a bit of a mess of the 18th. en-US He wound up facing a 40-foot putt for solo en-US second. He missed, and left himself a en-US ticklish 4-1/2-footer coming back. If you en-US thought the putt for $250,000 was enough en-US to make you nervous, this one was worse. If en-US he missed this putt, the difference between en-US shared second and shared third was a cool en-US $500,000. Fortunately he made the bogey en-US put. Can you imagine losing $750,000 on en-US one hole?en-US In all this was a good U.S. Open. Not en-US perfect, but a bit better. I like that the en-US USGA is giving us courses different from en-US the norm. Id like to see a few less birdies en-US next time, but Im glad they let the condien-US -en-US tions and the players talent decide how low en-US they would go. See, I am capable of saying en-US something nice. en-US James Stammer has been an avid golfer en-US and golf enthusiast for nearly 40 years. en-US Contact him at en-USstammergolf@yahoo.com. en-US 10 en-USly 115,000 square feet in total. The process en-US were going through now is obviously an en-US integration with the existing downtown en-US faade, which would be extremely importen-US-en-US ant to us.en-US If eventually approved by the city and en-US constructed, the developer would then en-US charge parking rates around $2 per hour en-US and daily rates ranging from $5 to $10. The en-US building would cost about $6 million to en-US construct on the lot, and Mr. BuShea said en-US the developer would prefer to purchase en-US rather than lease the land from the city. en-US Commissioner Thomas Perona said he en-US first laughed at the feasibility of the idea en-US until meeting with Mr. BuShea and Mr. en-US Kraaz and then handing it off to the Parking en-US Committee. The group unanimously recen-US -en-US ommended the developers present the idea en-US to the Commissions Conference Agenda, en-US and now the commissioner says the city en-US needs to look at least a decade into the en-US future. en-US If you take a look at 2027, where were en-US going to be and whats happening with the en-US properties, theyre being acquired left and en-US right and theyre going to be developed, en-US Commissioner Perona said. Mr. Kraaz has en-US just purchased another series of land locaen-US -en-US tions, vacant lots that he has plans for develen-US-en-US opment. There are plans all over the place. en-US When you look at it from that perspective, en-US youre going to see that well be deficient in en-US our parking facilities in less than 10 years.en-US Mr. BuShea concurred.en-US The Cobb property that we acquired, en-US thats going to be built out, he said. Thats en-US 40 or 50 spots right now at the sand lot en-US there. So the deficiencys going to increase en-US more and more as time progresses.en-US While Commissioner Jeremiah Johnson en-US asked for the exact dimensions of the proen-US -en-US posed facility -382 feet east to west and 100 en-US feet north to south -so he could study the en-US downtown area for other potential locaen-US -en-US tions, Mayor Linda Hudson worried about en-US misusing city property so close to the Indian en-US River.en-US I would be very concerned about builden-US -en-US ing a three-story building there, she said. en-US That is, in essence, going to be riverfront en-US property forever, the way I look at it. Its very en-US attractive for the marina parking, but I also en-US would have concerns even though I think en-US we desperately need to think about the en-US parking were going to need in the future.en-US For his part, Commissioner Rufus Alexen-US -en-US ander said he believed the city needed to en-US become more progressive and consider en-US removing its current limitation to four-story en-US structures downtown.en-US When are we going to change our menen-US -en-US tality about our city growing because we en-US cant grow east, we cant grow north because en-US of the port, we cant grow south, weve got to en-US grow up, and were not allowing any growth en-US up, he exclaimed. I look at if you put a en-US three-story there, thats going to be a beautien-US -en-US ful thing for times like the 4th of July and en-US Christmas. I can imagine the people parken-US -en-US ing there looking at our lighting for Christen-US-en-US mas and the 4th of July.en-US In order to continue in the process furen-US -en-US ther, City Manager Nicholas Mimms told en-US Mr. BuShea that the city would need to en-US declare the 1.2 acre property assessed at $2.2 en-US million as surplus in order to issue a request en-US for proposal in the bidding process, a fact en-US that didnt sit well with the mayor. en-US Im not ready to talk about that right en-US now, she said. I havent had enough time to en-US think about it or to know the pros and cons.en-US Mr. Mimms then attempted to alleviate en-US the mayors fears.en-US Typically, prior to the designation of suren-US -en-US plus, we would distribute a description of en-US the property to every one of our departen-US -en-US ments, he said. Our departments would en-US then give us feedback as to how the property en-US was being utilized and what type of vision en-US they have. And if at that time we have overen-US -en-US whelming consensus without our departen-US -en-US ments, then we will bring that to the city en-US commission for a determination of that desen-US -en-US ignation. Yet, you can retract it at any time.en-US Commissioner Perona also supported en-US that idea and say some kind of artist renderen-US -en-US ing would be helpful.en-US I think it would be well worth our effort en-US to be able to have staff come up with an idea en-US how this could go to the next level, he said. en-US If you could actually see how it looks on en-US the property maybe in general terms before en-US we start doing something real specific, I en-US think its worthy to be able to have a little en-US more information on how it could happen.en-US The Commission then agreed to have Mr. en-US Mimms do research on public/private parten-US -en-US nerships on parking garages in other comen-US -en-US munities and then have the developer return en-US to the August Conference Agenda for en-US another discussion on the matter. Detroit auto dealer Bill Packer en-US found a way to assist a police widow. He wrote to 100 en-US friends and associates, asking for $100 each. Coach (Hilary) en-US Poole was definitely there for me and he was en-US a great coach. I had a teacher, Dr. Marylin en-US Richardson-Pryor, and she was definitely en-US there for me on and off the field.en-US So, with those two people, they helped en-US me get to where I am today.en-US en en-US Registration is at 8 a.m. and the camp starts en-US promptly at 9 a.m., but the interesting part en-US of the day is that Mr. Wilson, 24, doesnt just en-US focus on football skills. He said his goal is to en-US offer young people guidance on how to en-US develop skills, regardless of the sport they en-US play.en-US Its not your ordinary football camp, its en-US boys and girls and we have a trainer there en-US Bo Jack Jackson (Boris Jackson) from en-US Orlando so he comes down and runs the en-US camp for us, Mr. Wilson said. Its really en-US about getting the kids outside and get some en-US exercise and have some of my friends that en-US are in the NFL come down and give the kids en-US hope so that they know its possible to make en-US it out of where we come from.en-US Among the NFL players who will be on en-US hand are Chris Conley, Spencer Ware and en-US Charcandrick West from the Kansas City en-US Chiefs and Jerel Worthy of the Buffalo Bills en-US and Frankie Hammond of the New York en-US Jets. There will be a few more there to help en-US teach youths about how best to realize their en-US potential.en-US Depending on what sport they play and en-US what position they play, were going to focus en-US on the skills part and how to get better at en-US what they do, Mr. Wilson said. Wide en-US receivers will be practicing catching balls en-US and running backs will do some footwork en-US drills. If you play defense, we will focus on en-US that, too.en-US But Mr. Wilson added that if children en-US dont play any sports he is encouraging famen-US -en-US ilies to come out and enjoy exercise, and en-US there will be other events hosted throughout en-US the weekend. en-US It also is a way to communicate with en-US everybody in the community and on Saturen-US -en-US day we will have the camp, but on Sunday en-USwe will have a seven-on-seven football game en-US through the high schools, Mr. Wilson said. en-US I think there will be eight high schools that en-US will compete for the seven-on-seven showen-US -en-US down.en-US After the seven-on-seven games, there en-US will be a free carnival from noon to 4 p.m. en-US on Sunday, with bounce houses, a dunk en-US tank, rock climbing and games for the en-US young people.
