Abstract:
The design process and solutions architecture presents result directly from underlying theoretical questions concerning urban planning, the human experience, and the environment. In this thesis, the concepts of Theory 2 are woven in to three design projects: The CENE Institute, Broadway Bend, and the Vicenza Studio project. Each of these respective projects consider each topic of Theory 2 while distinctly creating a program of their own and benefiting the community through specific contextual issues. The thesis walks through the topics while referencing each of the three projects as paragons of the concept. ( en )
