Abstract:
My portfolio shows the wide range of skills that I have gathered during my experience as a graphic design student at UF. I have learned how to actually create physical books in different ways of binding, how to properly print, different forms of craft, as well as developing a better creative process for designing each project. I used to just dive in and do what I thought looked good, but now I understand that design is more precise and requires research and intent. I always try to create visuals that are easy for the user but also appealing and clean. I've come to recognize what my style is like and that it's okay that it doesn't look like others. I am not drawn to using bright colors and illustrations all of the time. But I have learned how to adapt and add other techniques into my designs when necessary. The importance of networking and collaboration Is so strong and getting feedback and critique from those I share the studio with has taught me that more perspectives is better and it's beneficial to get other views during the process. en-USARTIST STATEMENTen-USWhen I was deciding on what major I wanted to choose in college, I looked into something en-US that had to do with digital design. That was all I did in high school. I created posters, fun en-US edits of friends, and random illustrations or typography. But I wasnt sure if it was going en-US to be something that I could really hold on to growing up and entering the real world. en-US I also wasnt sure if my abilities were something I could actually do for a job. However, en-US when I looked into the graphic design program at UF and then two years later actually got en-US accepted, I really found what I wanted. I want to be in the creative world where I make en-US amazing things for people. To bring to life what they what to portray whether it be their en-US brand, a product, a certain feeling, etc. I learned how to improve typography, layout design, en-US design thinking, actual research process, and so much more. I had the opportunity to be en-US with other people and learn from them as well. It also created a huge network of people en-US that I love and can be proud to see go on to wherever they bring their own designs. Ive en-US found my own style which is unique, simple, clean, and organized and I love it.

en-USA new theater has opened in Southlake, Texas and the concept that I created is en-US that people would submit stories from their life, and the theater would produce en-US plays or performances based on that true story. The connection gives the theater en-US a unique quality that would allow the community to learn more about each other en-US and an opportunity to create new relationships.
