15 Pacesetter by LaDonna Davis SWD Public Affairs I n the fall of 2011, Southwestern Divi sion Commander Brig. Gen. Thomas W. Kula presented a set of priorities for SWD outlining his goals for all the Districts as they entered the new Fiscal Year. These priorities, along with the SWD Azimuth, marked the way ahead to where we want to be for our spon sors, customers, communities, and next generation of Pacesetters. First on the list of priorities is to strengthen the regional strategic customer relations plan by fully utiliz ing the concepts of communication, collaboration and cooperation. SWD Regional Business Director Mr. Jim Hannon further explains why partner ing with our customers and stakehold ers is so critical, gives some examples of successes accomplished through partnering, and the way ahead to en sure that SWD continues successfully down this road.
