Debt Collection The Senate Report accompanying the supplemental Appropriations and Rescissions Act of 1980 (Public Law 96-304) requires Inspectors General to report amounts due to the agency as well as the amounts that are overdue and written off as uncollectible. NASAs Financial Management Division provides this data each November for the previous scal year. For the period that ended September 30, 2005, the receivables due from the public totaled $60,709,285, of which $5,700,022 is delinquent. The amount written off as uncollectible for the period October 1, 2004, through September 30, 2005, was $22,930.
