Housing Conditions
In June 1992 the City's Cdes nforcement Division completed a housing conditions
survey. The ratings were based on exterior conditions. On a scale from one (worst) to
four (best), the average dwelling unit in the city had a 3.6 rating. The survey results are
presented by Neighborhood Planning Area (PA). Map 4 shows these areas and the
associated percentage category of substandard housing units in them. Table 15 indicates
the Neighborhood Planning Areas with more than 10% of dwellings needing major repairs.
The housing conditions data does not include the 1992 annexed areas.
