PLANT QUARANTINE I PORT RESTRICTIONS

OF

NEW ZEALAND


Import Permit Requirement Waived
for Certain Items

According to the Plant Protection Bulletin of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for February 1953, Notice No. Ag. 5320 issued by the Acting Director of the Horticulture Division on September 12, 1952, published in Gazette No. 61, authorizes the introduotion without a permit of the nursery stock specified below:

(a) all species of cacti (Cactaceae),
(b) all species of orchids (Orchidaceae),
(c) spawn of common field mushrooms (Agaricus campestrie), and
(d) Frangipani cuttings (Plumeria acutifolia and P. rubra).
