PLANT QUARANTINE IMPORT RESTRICTIONS
IMPORTATION OF SOIL PROHIBITED
(Introduction of Soil Prohibition Order 1952)
Save in accordance with any Act or regulations, or with the consent
.of the Minister of Agriculture and subject to such conditions as he
thinks fit to impose, no person shall introduce into New Zealand any
saoil, sand, clay, or earth, whether by itself or with any goods.
(Note: This order, effective March 28, 1952, is a restriction to
prevent introduction of Foot-and-Mouth Disease. Plants with soil
