THE GYPSY MOTH AYD BROWN-TAIL MOTH QTJARA;TTINE OQUARANTINE N 45)

In accordance with the proviso in Notice of Quirantine No. 45, as

revised effective November 4, 1935, the following articles, the inter-

state movement of which ii not considered to constitute a risk of moth

dissentination, are exempted from the restrictions of the regulations

of this quarantine:

Acacia cuttings (for ornamental use) (Acacia s-rn.)
Banana stalks, when crushed, dried, and. shredded
Cable reels, when newly manufactured and empty
Clubmoss (sometimes called "ground pine") (Lycopdium spp.)
Evergreen smilax (Smilax lanceolata)
Fuchsia (Fuchsia sop.)
Galax (Galax aphylla)
Geranium (Pelargonium spp.)
Heather cuttings (for ornamental use) (Erica spp.) (Calluna spp.)
Heliotrope (Heliotroloinm sp-.)
Herbarium specimens, when dried, pressed and treated, and when so
labeled on the outside of ench container of such materials.
Jerusalem-cherrv (Solanum capsicastrum, S.pseudocpsicum_,_
S. hendersoni)
Mistletoe (Phoradendron flavescens, Viscum album, etc.)
Oregon huckleberry (Vaccinium ovatum)
Partridgeberry (Mitchell. r epens)
Strawberry plants (Fragaria spp)
Trailing arbutus (Epigaea repens)
Verbena (Verbena sop.)
Wintergreen (Gaultheria spp. P rola spp.)
