As a member of the superstar band Tabou Combo since 1968, Kapi serves as front man, drummer, composer, and all around instrumentalist. He visits FIU to talk about “Konpa,” Haiti’s infectious and indigenous rhythm that his group has made popular around the world. Lecture in Haitian Creole.
