I Under authority conferred on the Secretary of Agriculture by
I_ section 1 of the act of Congress approved March 3, 1905 (33 Stat.
1264), the quarantine established by B. A. I. Order 287, dated
BI February 23, 1924, and the amendments thereto, on thie following
Ir portions of counties in the State of California is hereby revoked.
; effective on May 26, 1924:
1;F All that portion of Kern County except premises upon which foot-and-mouth
.,, .disease has existed.
", All that portion of San Joaquin County except premises upon which foot-and-
mouth disease has existed.
,,:; ~ All that portion of Stanislaus County lying north of the Stanishlaus River.
r;': AH that portion of Tulare County except the area located within a boundary
S.. line beginning at Tulare and running along the highway in an easterly direction
to Lindsay, thence running southerly along the Southern Pacific Railroad to
ii5 Terra Bella, thence running along the highway one-half mile south of Terra
Bella in a westerly direction to Pixley, thence running in a northerly direction
0: along the Southern Pacific Railroad to Tulare.
All that portion of Contra Oosta County lying east of a line beginning at the
^. intersection of Tassajara road with the Alameda County line, thence running
-1 ,,.north along Tassajara road over the mountain to Morgan Canon road, thence
V* *running northwesterly along Morgan Canon road to Marsh Creek road, thence
running northwesterly along Marsh Creek road through the city of Clayton to
Kirker Pass road, thence running along Kirker Pass road to Black Diamond
k ,Way road, thence running along Black Diamond Way road through the city
of Pittpburg to New York Slough.
All that portion of Tuolumne County except the nrea within a boundary
line starting at the west boundary line of the Stanislaus National Forest where
t. it crosses the Middle Fork of Stanislaus River and running south along said
National ForesC line to the South Fork of Stanislaus River. thence running
northeasterly along the South Fork of Stanislaus River to Strawberry Lake,
. thence running southeasterly to the Yosemite Park following drift fences,
S:w ; wich form the southwest boundary of Strawberry range and the northe:.t
boundary lines of the upper Hull, Clavy, Rosasco, and Park ranges, thence rnn-
: .....ning southerly along the west boundary of Yosemite National Park to the main
Tuolumne River, thence running southwesterly along the main Tuoluniie RItiver
,, to the west boundary of Stanislaus National Forest, thence running sIuth ti
I:, f Tuolumne-Mariposa County line. thence running along the Tuolumne County
!, line westerly then northerly to the point of beginning.
!|. This amendment, which, for the purpose of identification, is desig-
nated as amendment 15 to B. A. I. Order 287, shall become and be
!B I effective on and after May 26, 1924.
