The fact has been determined by the Secretaryp p Agriculte an o is I

tick fever exists in cattle in the following named s andTerritory, to' it:
Florida, Louisiana, Texas, and Puerto Rico. (, N/ .
Now, therefore, I, R. W. Dunlap, Acting Secit&ry9Tv,". Agriculture,,under
authority conferred by section 1 of the act of CongreaP'rved oMar~3, 1905
(33: Stat. 1264), do hereby quarantine the areas hereAkfet dei rib, and do
order by this rule 1, revision 31, under the authority and lekttea cnfaerred on
the Secretary of Agriculture by section 3 of the said act of Congress, approved
March 3,1905 (33 Stat 1265), that the interstate movement of cattle from the
areas hewein quarantined shall be made only in accordance with the regulation
of the Secretary of Agriculture for the prevention of the spread of splenetic or
tick fever in cattle.
AREAS QUARANTINED
The following areas are quarantined for splenetic or tick fever in cattle:
FLORIDA
The following counties and portions of counties are quarantined: Charlotte,
Collier, De Soto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough,
Lee, Manatee, Okeechobee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sarasota; that portion
of OsCetola County lying south and west of a line beginning at that point where
the Orlando-Kissimmee branch of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad crosses the
Orange-Osceola County line, thence running along the Atlantic Coast Line
Railroad right of way south to Kissimmee, thence running southeasterly along
said railway to a point 1 mile north of Ashton, thence running east along
the boundary line between township 25 south and township 26 south to the
New Smyrna-Okeechobee branch of the Florida East Coast Railroad, thence
running south along said railroad to the Osceola-Indian River County line;
and that portion of St. Lucie County lying south and west of a line beginning
at a point on the Okeechobee-St. Lucie County line in the southwest corner of
section 30, township 34 south, range 37 east, then running in a southeasterly
direction to the northwest corner of section 21, township 35 south, range 38 east,
themnee running south to the southwest corner of section 16, township 36 south,
range 38 east, thence running due east to the north fork of the St. Lucie River,
thence running south along the north fork of the St. Lucie River to the St.
Lucie-Martin County line.
LOUISIANA
The following parishes and portions of parishes are quarantined: Acadia,
Allen, 4oyeUles, Beauregard, Bienville, Bossier, Cameron, Calcasieu, Caldwell,
Catahoift 0e Soto, Evangeline, Franklin, Grant, Iberia, Jackson, Jefferson
Davis, Layette, La Salle, Livingston, Morehouse, Natchitoches, Onachita,
POtints Oopee.f Rapldes, Richland, Red River, Sabine, St. Helena, St. Landry,
