BUREAU OF BIOLOGICAL SURVEY.
USE OF HEADLIGHTS ON BIG LAKE RESERVATION, ARKANSAS,
WASHINGTON, D. C., November 16, 1923.
By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of Agriculture
by section 84 of the act of March 4, 1909 (35 Stat. 1088), entitled
"An act to codify, revise, and amend the penal laws of the United
States," and otherwise, the following rule and regulation to prevent
unmnecessary disturbanlce of the birds on Big Lake Reservation, Ark.,
is thereby adopted, effective Deceimnber 1, 1923:
No gas, oil, electric, or other headlight shall be used on Big Lake
Reservation in the State of Ark;ansas.

NOTE.-Violations of this regulation are punishable under section 84 of the
Penal Code of the United States by fine of $500, or by imprisonment for six
months, or both.
