Thisa is-one in a series of annual reports relating to farm disposition of
livestock, and ivestoc prdcs This report includes estimates of
h ay., seeds, potato6s, agdsme other commodities. Estimates for fruits
eenuts were published.,in February 1948. Estima-tes~tor cotton and cottonwre published with th& May 7 Cotton Report; those for tobacco, sugar beets arcane for sugar are published in the General Orop Report released on May The reports on chicken& and eggs and turkeys were published in March; milk, at animals in April

The production estimtes for 1946 and 1947 shown in this report are the' ?,as publshed in'the peewember 1947 Annual Summary of Crop Production. Essof. farm disposition- relate. to portions of the crop used or to be used -for ignpted-purposes on farms where produced. Portions of crops shown as fed
stock represent only quantities fed on the farms'that produced the crop
given year md do not represent total quantities' of crops -ultimately, :used yestocknfeedingoe Sales and household use if any, for the'principal feed arxe estimated directly and the quantity used for'feed and seed is'residual 4tin esshosehlduse and sales), and grain purchased Ifor such purpss
