The caption on the back reads: "Panama grows some of the finest pineapple in the world. The larger variety is known as the 'Pina del Agua' (pineapple of water) grown near the interior town of Chorrera. The plants thrive on uncultivated hillsides bearing annual fruit harvested during the early months of rainy season, May and June."
