The captions on the back read: "The 'MONTUNOS' - Panama's country people are shy and reserved but very hospitable. Farmers and cattlemen, they work long hours with primitive tools such as the ox cart. Their homes are called 'Bohios' and are made of adobe with well-brushed, hard-packed mud floors and roofs of native tile or palm thatch."
