Abstract:
At UF, each digital / data collection is affiliated with one or more Curators or Program Directors, with collaborative support from the Head of Digital Development & Web Services and/or Digital Humanities Librarian. For scholarly digital projects and archives, teaching faculty partner and collaborate with Curators/Program Directors following the processes for their collections. This documentation provides additional information on the Library Liaison Team model and the consultative approach for digital/data scholarly projects and collections including digital scholarship projects, Digital Humanities projects and collections, Data Curation, Data Management, and other data and digital projects.

Internal processing information including using SobekCM for managing, assigning, and granting user rights and permissions for self-submittals.

To do so, administrators need to be logged in and should go to their mySOBEK/myUFDC/myDLOC From the top right, under System Admin select Users and Groups

Registered Users and Groups The main screen for Users and Groups lists the groups at the top, followed by a long listing of all users. It is often b est to find within the page to find a single user (i n the future, the user screen may be segmented for faster loading with over 7,000 users in 2014)

User Screens : Basic Information T he Basic Information screen for each user allows administrators to : R eview and update selected user information A ssign permissions for self submittal Note internal users Assign permissions for editing all items Assign permissions for deleting items Assign rights as administrators A ssign templates and defaul t metadata sets for submissions

User Screens : Group Membership In addition to the basic information and right s, users can be assigned to different groups, with certain rights automatically granted from the group membership.
