At UF, each digital collection is under the purview of one or more Curators or Program Directors, with collaborative support from the Head of Digital Development & Web Services and/or Digital Humanities Librarian. SobekCM offers robust technical supports and tools for curators for d igital collec tion development and management. News Updates News and other updates on SobekCM that are likely to be of interest to Curators are discussed, planned, documented, and sha red in many ways Because SobekCM is mature soft ware, the maintenance is stable with minor refinements and design updates, as needed to keep pace with web standards new platforms usability needs, etc Changes and enhancements are no rmally planned and documented as part of projects submitted for grant s w ith awarded grants resulting in system enhancements that benefit all users. D etaile d information on enhancements is documented in the grant proposals ( http://ufdc.ufl.edu/ufirgrants ) and the SobekCM documentation ( http://ufdc.ufl.edu/ sobekcm ).
