Abstract:
The Weevil is a type of beetle from the Curculionoidea superfamily, with over 60,000 species in several families identified. Weevils tend to be on the smaller side, usually measuring less than 0.24 inches in length. Weevils are known to be highly damaging to crops, particularly grain and cotton. Within Panama, Weevils are found in a variety of locations. Researchers have studied its remarkable adaptability, and they have been found at sea level, all the way up to 7200 feet. Furthermore, they have been sighted both in their natural tropical forest and in areas highly disturbed and inhabited by humans
General Note:
