Biographical:
The Orange Bowl ceremony was held to honor the surviving members of the Miami base Cuban-exile force, or Brigade 2506 who carried out an unsuccessful invasion of Cuba in April 1961. The group landed at the Bay of Pigs on Cuba's south coast, but was quickly routed by Cuban forces.
